Secretary General Shi Wanli reviewed the ferroalloy industry in the first half of 2019 from the production and distribution areas based on the past and present development of the ferroalloy industry and compared it with 2018.

Secondly, the Secretary-General described the ferroalloy industry in terms of the distribution of mineral resources at home and abroad, the main production enterprises and production capacity of ferroalloys at home and abroad, and the development of China's ferroalloy industry. From a regional perspective, ferroalloy enterprises are mainly distributed in Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, Guizhou, and Sichuan regions. Inner Mongolia has the highest proportion and regional advantages.

Finally, Secretary General Shi Wanli pointed out some suggestions to master the electric furnace large-scale process route, equipment parameters and other core technologies; strengthen the design capability and related professional support; strengthen the talent training and specialization level; use the geographical advantage, rely on Inner Mongolia, multilateral radiation.
